Pat Tillman Race / August's 1st Bday Weekend April 25 2013, 0 Comments

This Saturday Morning My Brother & I went to support my Son August The Great in his 1st Marathon. Seems like August wanted to do a lot of activities before he turned 1 year old. We registered for the Pat Tillman Race and woke up at 5am. This was a fun experience for all 3 of us. There were more people at the race than we expected. over 28,000 in attendance for the race. We got to meet up with the Arizona Cardinal's Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald and he picked up August The Great and wished him a Happy 1st Birthday and good luck on his 1st marathon. we ran 4.2 miles in 1hour with no training. We wanted to leave room for us to beat next year :) My brother mike finished his run in 30 minutes, that fast lil' Kenyan. We enjoyed being a part of a great race to keep the legacy and spirit of Pat Tillman going for what he lived and died for. I can't wait to find more events to share and enjoy with August The Great later on in life.
